Hi, we are close friends of this young family. Recently, on July 13th, a tragic accident happened on their son's second birthday, completely traumatizing and disrupting their lives. The husband/father was involved in a near death car accident that completely destroyed their vehicle. He was hit by a semi-truck turning right, but thankfully the husband and other family member survived.

However, in the wake of these events, the accident has taken a significant emotional toll on everyone involved, including their two-year old son, who missed his parents on his birthday. Due to the surprising nature of the accident, the family is now facing unexpected financial hardship. The family discovered that their vehicle insurance lasped, leaving the family entirely responsible to pay out of pocket while the situation gets sorted out. Issues with the husband’s employer has also created uncertainty regarding his income, and he is currently taking some time away from work. With a full household, and many bills piling up, the family is looking to family, friends, and the kindness of strangers to help them out during this rough transition period. Any donations would be used as short term support for expeses such has household bills, rent, utilities, groceries, etc., while the family gets back on their feet.
