The Idea of North Reunion Tour!

Dear friends and fans of TION (and others!),

On the 15th of March 2020 we performed our last public show together before COVID hit us all. Then last week, we sang together for the first time since then – one song – and it was the most convincing argument yet for organising a reunion tour! We’ve been considering it for over a year, but until now it’s been just too risky. After nearly three years of not being able to perform together, we are finally planning a reunion tour. We have missed singing for you SO much.

To enable us to get back on the road, we need your help. The pandemic left us (and pretty much every other small arts organisation) devoid of the necessary funds to set up a tour. We are asking you, our loyal supporters, to help us get back on the road.

If you are in a position to contribute towards our project, your hard-earned cash will enable the booking of venues, buying of flights, rehearsals, and completing the myriad (and unfortunately expensive) tasks necessary for us to reunite. With your help we can schedule a national tour in October/November this year, encompassing all Australian capital cities. What happens after that will depend on how this project goes!

If half our email subscribers donated $2, we’d reach our goal, and while every donation is hugely appreciated, we also have four contribution options for you to choose from:

Tier 1: $20+

Tier 1 donors receive monthly reunion updates from TION

Tier 2: $60+

Tier 2 donors receive presale access to reunion tour tickets before they are released to the general public, as well as monthly reunion updates from TION

Tier 3: $300+

Tier 3 donors are granted exclusive access to a series of live online sessions with the band in the lead-up to the reunion tour. These will contain Q&A sessions, rehearsal tips, and behind-the-scenes stories from the members of TION. Tier 3 donors also receive ticket presale access and monthly reunion updates. If attending a show on the tour, Tier 3 donors also receive VIP soundcheck access prior to the show.

Tier 4: $1500+

Tier 4 donors receive all these benefits, as well as four A-reserve tickets to a show of their choice and a signed, framed copy of our most recent CD (because who actually has a CD player any more!).

Whichever way you choose to contribute will help enormously.
