In loving memory of Hayley Mason

The ICP are raising funds for Cynthia Spencer Hospice after recently receiving their support when our beloved sister‑in‑law, Hayley Mason, passed away very suddenly following her cancer diagnosis.

Cynthia Spencer Hospice provides inpatient care, outpatient services, Hospice@Home, lymphoedema support and a palliative care clinical nurse specialist service. Their team includes specialist consultants, doctors and nurses who work across the Hospice, the community, Northampton General Hospital and Danetre Hospital in Daventry. Their work is quiet, skilled, compassionate and it mattered deeply to our family.

They gave Hayley a calm, dignified place to rest during her final days, surrounded by people who cared for her with gentleness and respect.  They supported us too, in the darkest hours, offering steadiness when everything felt unsteady 

Hayley was fiercely loyal to the people she loved. If you were part of her circle, you felt it , in her honesty, her unwavering support, and the way she stood beside those she cared for without hesitation. What stands out most for Luke and me is the love she gave so freely, without conditions.

We will miss her voice, her contagious laugh, her passionate spirit. But we carry her with us, in our memories, in our stories, and in the love she leaves behind.

May Hayley rest in peace, and may we honour her by living with the same kindness and courage she showed us. And of course, by shouting encouragement from the sidelines of any pitch you find yourself standing at.
