The Ian Boegel Memorial Award
Donation protected
Ian Boegel, son of Michelle Furlong and Patrick Boegel, and brother to Clare, passed away on June 6, 2017 at the age of 13. While he faced many challenges in his short life, he had a wonderful sense of imagination and loved looking at books.
I would like to ask for your help to raise money for an annual scholarship to honor Ian’s memory. This scholarship would be awarded to a Tamarac High School student who demonstrates imagination, creativity, a love of books and, most importantly, perseverance in the face of challenges. These aspects of character, chosen by his family, exemplify Ian’s true nature and are qualities that endear him to those who know him best.
