The HWK Award Fund was established in the honor of Holly Kempner. Beloved mother and mentor who helped build lifelong contributors to the game of tennis. Through direct contributions we intend to pay it forward to build more contributors to the game of tennis.
100% of all donations will go directly to Award recipients. All executive and administrative costs will be paid with existing funds.
Award candidates will be chosen based on need, scholastic achievement, character, citizenship, and should display a strong willingness to value the scholarship by participating in the spirit of the fund in the future. These requirements are in no specific order of priority but equally considered during the vetting process.
In the same spirit as the HWK Award, you can dedicate your donation to someone in your life who has inspired you in your tennis experience: a coach, teaching pro, parent, etc. Any contributions to a 501c3 non-profit will receive a tax-exempt letter providing the donor with the appropriate tax benefit.
