The Hux Family

This fundraiser is for the family of Joey and Nikki Hux. Nikki passed away far too soon at only 38 years old, losing her five week battle with brain cancer. She leaves behind her loving husband Joey and their two beautiful daughters Mackenzie (13) and Myleigh (12). The money raised will go towards easy meals for the girls, education, medical expenses (including Nikki's hospital stay, she unfortunately did not have health insurance), whatever else Joey may need to help raise his two girls now as a single parent. Myleigh and Mackenzie both have medical conditions that require doctor's appointments and special treatment. Mackenzie also does travel ball, while Myleigh does dance. We are hoping to be able to continue that part of their lives during this devastating change. Everyone who knew Nikki knew her as generous, loving, selfless, an amazing mom, and just an overall caretaker so we hope to do the same for her now. She spent her days at home with her girls homeschooling and raising them in her faith. She was the cook, maid, the teacher, the loving and supportive wife, the one you could call for help and knew you could always count on. Nikki wore many hats as her and Joey worked hard to make a living and raise their beautiful family. She was a blessing to all who knew her and will be dearly missed! We know times are tough right now with this being in the midst of a pandemic, but we would be grateful for any amount you could donate.
