Some days being a Good Samaritan comes at a cost and on Saturday evening our friend and family member Steve Hunt was in a freak accident while trying to help a friend. Steve’s hand was trapped at the top of an escalator for over 30 minutes. I won’t go in to the details but it was not a good scene. He was air vac’d from Laughlin, NV to Las Vegas where he has undergone two surgeries so far with another on the way this coming Monday and another one in about three weeks. For the following months Steve will need to travel back and forth from home in Prescott to Las Vegas. So needless to say life has changed dramatically in the past week for Steve, Kelley, Mason and Mylie. Luckily they have a wonderful support system but funds are going to get tight. Unplanned costs like medical bills, time off work, gas money, lodging, and food will add up quickly. If you can donate it will make a world of difference in their coming months. The stress of the unknown in this situation is monumental. Relieving a bit of the monetary anxiety will be so helpful. Any amount helps. And if you are unable to donate financially Steve and Kelley would so appreciate your prayers at this time. I will keep this site updated with Steve’s progress along the way. Thank you for reading, donating, sharing and caring ❤️
