The Hugging Chef

I'm Jean-Pierre Weingarten, a chef with over 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry, having worked in restaurants and catering companies. I have been a personal chef since 1996, providing special celebrations in the comfort of people's home. I'm raising funds to create a business of making special treats (snacks) that are tasty, healthy and a great energy source; all rolled into one! The ingredients for the treats are organically-sourced, plant-based, and handmade with love and care. This endeavor is essential to me because it's a way for me to give back to the community, especially in these challenging times when people are seeking comfort and ease in their lives, and these treats are my way of supporting that.

I'm fundraising for the following: setting up the business entity (licenses, insurance), expenses for ingredients and equipment; packaging; branding and marketing.
