Hi, I’m Leia, a 46-year-old Black woman, a sacred healer in progress, and a Hidradenitis Suppurativa (HS) warrior of 28 years.

I know what it means to suffer in silence. I know the pain of HS, the kind that wounds not only the body, but the spirit. I also know the power of community, holistic healing, and what it feels like to finally be seen.

After decades of misdiagnosis and isolation, I found remission through a combination of surgery, biologics, meditation, natural supplements, and deep soul work. But my healing isn’t the end of the story—it’s the beginning of a calling.

I created the Empowered HS Goddess Foundation to be a sacred space where Black women with HS don’t just survive, they rise. This is more than charity. It’s a reclamation.

What We’re Raising Money For:

We're raising $10,000 to launch our first year of healing-centered programming, including:

  • 50+ Holistic Healing Kits for Black women living with HS
  • A Virtual Wellness Retreat rooted in rest, yoga, and ritual
  • A Mini-Grant Program to help with therapy, supplements, or surgery costs
  • Educational tools and affirmations designed with love

️ Why It Matters:

HS is rarely talked about—and even more rarely talked about in the context of Black women’s health. That’s why this work is spiritual. Political. Necessary.

Every donation is a step toward equity in healing. A declaration that Black women’s pain deserves care. That our healing is sacred. That we deserve softness, support, and sisterhood.

If you believe in the power of collective healing, of radical care, of turning wounds into wisdom—I invite you to give.
Help me build the space I wish I had 20 years ago.

With love and deep gratitude,
Leia
