HOW FAR WOULD YOU GO TO GO BACK HOME?

Hi! I'm Aador, the writer/director of THE HOUSEMAID, a USC student film. My team and I need to raise $1,750 to be able to make our project a reality, and we'd love if you could help us out.

THE HOUSEMAID follows Anita, an immigrant woman working as a live-in maid, who hatches a plan to murder her employers so she can raid their home.

The film explores the emotional toll of seeking a better life abroad, the pain of being displaced from the culture that raised you, and the feeling of being trapped in a land that promised you a life you dreamed of, only to bring you misfortunes you never thought you'd have.

With an ensemble of characters, each one more morally ambiguous than the last, the story questions what makes a person inherently good or evil, whether the ends justify the means, and how our class systems exploit the disadvantaged- leaving no other choice than being driven to extremes.

This story is close to my heart, I'd love if you could help me tell it.
