Elizabete Márcia Terrabuio Semencato has recently lost the battle to cancer and her friends are raising funds to honor her memory to The Hospital de Amor in Brazil.
“Dona Márcia”, born in June of 1951, was one of the firsts female dentists in her hometown Osvaldo Cruz, Brazil after graduating from the Faculdade de Odontologia de Lins. She lived a great life, alongside her loved husband “Seu Dú”, being married for more than 40 years.
Together they have raised three kids: Gustavo, the one she typically referred as the “craziest” kid with the biggest heart, Marcelo, which she has seen becoming an MD, and Daniela, who Dona Márcia proudly cheered at every volleyball match.
She will certainly be missed, especially by her two “gatinhas” and “bonecas” Olivia and Sofia.
