The Honu Needs A Tiki-ling Do-Over
Donation protected
Bad things sometimes happen to good people, we've all heard that, but this time you can help us do something about it!
Two people that have always given their friends, employees, community, whatever they could spare by volunteering, donating, or just lending a hand to anyone in need without question, now needs your help!
Kimberly & Lisa Platt, owners of The Honu Restaurant in Dunedin, FL have been working 24/7 to give whatever they had to home-bound COVID-19 patients whilst keeping the doors of The Honu open for the community and employees they love. But when an unscrupulous contractor literally left them hanging by doing a sub-par ceiling (Tiki-ling) installation, not only do they have have to re-do the entire ceiling job that they already paid to this guy, it jeopardizes the future of the business and curtails all the good will they intended to bring to their community during this pandemic.
Please help us, help them keep the doors open the ceiling up and the food coming so that they can continue to give back to their community, homebound patients and employees without an interruption.
100% of your contribution will go towards the ceiling replacement. Thank you!
(Required Full Disclosures: My name is Jeff Bond. Kimberly and Lisa are family by blood and marriage. They are the co-owners of The Honu in Dunedin, FL . I live in Pasadena, CA and did this because I feel so helpless being so far away, and unable to travel -- I love them both and admire how much they give back to their community, without ever asking for anything).
