The Hondo Romero Rebuild Fund
Donation protected
This is my great friend Hondo Romero. He's a father, a husband and an amazing friend to any and all that meet him. Hondo is a constant source of positivity, knowledge, experience and entertainment for all of his work family here at Broward Motorsports of Fort Lauderdale.
Hondo was on his way to work on he morning of October 5th at 8:30 am when a pick up truck came to an unusual and abrupt stop in the middle of the street for an unknown reason. A terrible combination of the truck stopping abruptly in the middle of the street, Hondo riding east in the morning with the sun rising in the east as well, making it a bit difficult to see clearly and a lite morning dew on the ground spelled disaster. Hondo slammed his brakes, but lost control of the bike and slammed into the back of the pick up at about 40 mph. Rather then doing the right this and getting out to help, the driver of the truck decided to flee the scene, leaving Hondo laying in the street unconscious with a broken leg which required surgery to install a steel rod, dislocated shoulder and multiple facial and dental injuries. The driver of the pick up truck has yet to be identified. Hondo was injured pretty severely, but after alot of time, healing and unfortunately money. He has the ability to make a full recovery, but the medical and dental bills have exceeded his health insurance and has created a delay in his recovery.
We all need Hondo back.
His beautiful family needs him back.
We want and need him to make a full recovery.
I'm asking all my friends and family to read this and make any donation that you can afford to assist in taking some of the financial burden away from his amazing wife and family. Please donate if you can and if not please, at the very least share this post in order to spread the word and help Hondo get back on his feet. 100% of the donations will go directly to Hondo's medical and dental expenses upon reaching our $5,000 goal.
Thank you, Thank you for your support and please RIDE SAFE!
