The homeless cats & kittens in Fire Island Pines
Donation protected

Dear friends, as the summer comes to a close and memories of warm nights, parties and summer fun starts to fade, soon we will all take that last ferry boat back to our real lives...
Some of you may have been feeding poor begging cats all summer at your homes... some may have see them cross your path at night coming back from tea. These cats and kittens cannot take that last ferry boat back to any life, because their life is stuck on the island. And when everybody leaves, and the cold weather sets in... and eventually the snow... there will only be starvation and torture for these poor homeless cats/kittens who did not ask to be born on the island but unfortunately were , and have only survived due to the kindness of strangers. For the last 4 years I've been trying to change all that and have worked diligently to catch, trap, spay neuter and rehome as many as possible. Since March, I have removed 53 cats and kittens from our tiny community, However, there are so many more still in need of help! Especially the babies who were born late in the summer. I'm asking you to please open your hearts and your wallets to this very worthy cause! These poor cats need food, heated houses, medical attention and definitely to be spayed and or neutered. It is a monumental task for one person... so I'm asking for help from all of you who are animal lovers, and all of you who have compassion for these poor domesticated animals who have no other recourse.
Thank you so very much❤️
