It is with a heavy heart that Charles ‘Hippo” Williams left us on July 13, 2022.

Charles was born and raised in Mount Vernon, NY, where he lived with his four brothers and sister. He was an amazing son, brother, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, friend, and neighbor. Anyone who knew him, knew him to be an outstanding person that would give you the shirt off his back. He had a huge impact in the community with the fellowship he provided to so many of us. Hippo was a true hero to his children and a fighter to the end. Heaven has gained another angel. One to be reckoned with in the best of ways.

We are all devastated by our loss, and we’re not prepared for the high cost of a funeral. We would love to honor Charles and give him the homegoing he deserves. He might be gone but will never be forgotten. His love, strength, and devotion will remain a shining light in our family and in the community.

He will be missed forever.
