The Home Going of Joseph Davis Jr.

Joseph Davis, Jr., passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2018.  As a Man of God he lived a full life of 73 years and Always Kept Hope Alive. Beloved Husband of 52 years to Gilda Simon Davis.  Devoted Father of Lisa M. Davis and Denise L. Davis. Loving G-Pa of Jasmine D. Davis. Godfather of Zavier Frazier. Son of the late Geneva and Joseph Davis, Jr. Brother of Josephine Davis Smith and the late Arthur Hester, Bernice Hester Dixon, Iona Hester Broussard.  Also survived by other family and friends. Joseph Davis, Jr. was a graduate of Dillard University, a retired United States Air Force Master Sergeant, and a staunch advocate of education by teaching in the Biloxi Public School System.

Relatives and visitors are invited to attend the home-going services at Jacob Schoen & Son Funeral Home on Saturday, May 5th. Visitation will be from 11:30 AM until 1:30 PM with military honors at 1:30 PM. Burial will immediately follow at St. Louis #3, 3421 Esplanade Ave, New Orleans.
