The Hollins Prom 2025

Hi everyone,

As you all know I am Donna and I am organising with the help of other parents a proper prom for the kids of Year 11 at The Hollins as we believe our kids deserve the leavers prom every other school offers.

Most parents have now paid the full balance for the venue; however, we feel the kids deserve a little more.

Damian Cuncliffe has kind sorted out the DJ & photobooth which is amazing but as discussed, we want this memorable and incredibly special occasion to be captured on camera and give our kids memories to look back on in years to come.

We have managed to secure a photographer and as discussed this is at a cost of £190 for 3 hours with includes editing and full digital downloads for everyone.

We currently have 65 kids on the list for the prom but 3 still haven't paid a deposit so I am working on there being 62 attending.

Working on 62 the photographer works out at £3.07 each.

Instead of everyone transferring into my account I have set this GoFundMe up to make it easier.

If we raise more than the £190, I will put this towards decorations for the room. I am also looking at getting a balloon arch & sequin wall.

I am still waiting for the Alma to confirm what they have raised; it won’t be much, but every bit helps.
