The Hogslayer Daytona 200 Monument Plaque
Donation protected
The Daytona 200 Monument is a tribute to the original 200 mile Daytona Beach motorcycle racers. Inscribed plaques and bricks within the Monument honor significant motorcycle racers in our history. John Gregory and TC Christenson of Sunset Motors and Hogslayer drag racing fame both road raced at Daytona International Speedway in 1967 and 1968. In addition, their multitude of motorcycle drag racing accomplishments including World Champion titles on the famous Hogslayer dragster, elevates them as two of the most celebrated motorcycle racers of our times.
Currently, there are very few Daytona 200 Monument 2' x 2' plaques available on the Monument. Fortunately, one is reserved for the legendary Sunset Motors Top Fuel Norton Hogslayer of TC Christenson, and John Gregory, Sunset Motors Team Manager, Champion builder of the Hogslayer, and Drag Racing Clutch inventor.
Dear friends,
This is an opportunity to play a role in the history of motorcycle racing in honoring these two extraordinary men and their accomplishments. Please donate as much as you can to make this possible.
This outstanding Monument is a popular attraction on Daytona Beach near the Bandshell, located at 100 N. Atlantic Ave. on the Ocean Walk.
Additional information on the legendary “Hogslayer” story is available on the internet.
