The Hobby helps out Tayla!

Hey guys,

My names Jadyn Mcfarlane and recently I have learnt that one of my best friends sisters has “Ewings Sarcoma” which is a rare type of bone cancer. She’s 23 years old. The cancer has grown to over 14 locations in her body, from her shoulder to her spine and all the way down to her pelvis. She has been given a expectancy of 2 more years but you never know what could happen within that time. This young woman is a warrior, she loves travelling, food, her friends, exercising and her recently found love, basketball. 2 things that have got her through her 12 month chemo run and one of the toughest chemo cycles QLD has seen in years, is her family and basketball. She started watching and hasn’t turned it off since. She loves Philly because she loves the passion and teamwork they all share. She supports her local NBL teams by going to the live games when she’s not to sick and streams 2-3 games a day when she’s bed ridden.

I’ve managed to source a Tyrese Maxey signed jersey. (Her favourite Philly player) along with some some other merchandise for her.

I am reaching out to you all, as fellow members of the hobby, asking for ANY donations to help pay for the merch I’ve secured. Her brother and I will also be opening up a PO Box on her behalf if you would like to donate any other merchandise or cards! Please contact me directly for details!
