My name is Jacie! I am a nurse and I have spent my whole life caring for others just as they were my family.. however recently me as well as my family’s world was turned upside down when I was diagnosed with signet ring cell carcinoma, a rare and aggressive cancer that has spread to my abdominal wall. I have started treatment and have had several complications due to my immune system, I have fought meningitis, sepsis, as well as many other infections. This diagnosis has changed everything in an instant! I am preparing for major surgery and treatments that will challenge me in every way; and what I want more than anything is to have my wife, Kelli, by my side every step of the way.

Kelli (my wife) is my strength, my safe place, and the person who helps me fight when I feel like I can’t anymore. Together, we are raising our two amazing boys, Will and Wyatt, who are our entire world. They deserve to have their mom cared for, supported, and given the best chance at healing. The thought of going through surgery and recovery without Kelli next to me breaks my heart!
