Dear friends,
Last night (Nov 30), the Hights' home in Midway city was destroyed completely by fire.  Thanks to the quick reaction of city firemen  they were safe.  However, most of what they have in the house were gone.  
Kathy and Kevin Hight are well-known volunteering members of the Boy Scout organization in Orange County Frontier District for many years.  They have worked tirelessly helping to get many scouts through the BSA program.  Many've reached the Eagle Scout rank, including our oldest, with their helps.  Their son Brandon is also an Eagle Scout and an active volunteering adult in scouting.  
In the 6 years that I've known this family I have never seen them turnning away any one coming up asking for helps.  And they've never asked for anything in return.  
For their years of selfless service to the community and to boy scouting, we need to step up to help this family in need. 
With everything destroyed, they urgently need our financial supports.  This $5000.00 funds will help them get through the next couple of months as they try to recover from this event and move forward.  The fund will be given directly to the Hights.
