The High Sheriff of Dyfed, Charity Cycle, 5-7th June 2026

Donation protected
Andrew Phillips, the new High Sheriff of Dyfed, has chosen
Wales Air Ambulance as his charity of the year in memory of the critical care his late father received. His 212 km fundraising cycle aims to support this lifesaving, donation‑funded service.

Through my tenure as High Sheriff of Dyfed I have chosen Wales Air Ambulance as my nominated charity to support their vital work delivering advanced lifesaving medical care to people across Wales. Wales Air Ambulance is the only air ambulance charity, based in, and dedicated to, the people of Wales and rely entirely on charitable donations to keep the helicopters in the air and fleet of rapid response vehicles on the road. The charity was founded on 1st March 2001 and this year marks the charity’s 25th anniversary.
The charity operates 4 helicopters and 8 Rapid Response Vehicles (RRVs) to help life or limb threatened patients across Wales, wherever and whenever they are needed. The average cost per mission is £3,545.
Supporting Wales Air Ambulance offers a valuable opportunity to demonstrate care for your communities.
