Hi, we're The HERstory Project!

Founded in 2023, The HERstory Project is a collaborative historical education initiative dedicated to amplifying the voices of women, queer individuals, and other underrepresented histories, and their historians.

So far, we have built our free access website, where we publish regular articles written and edited by our amazing contributing writers, all early career historians and academics. We are aiming to grow the Project to continue to promote early-career individuals and their research, both on our website, and in our print magazine: The HERstory Project Journal.

Issue #1 - Pioneers, is currently in production, and as well as website fees, we're raising money to pay for printing, marketing and all the other costs that creep up on us... (scroll down for a cost breakdown)

Currently, all our funding comes from 1 person, our founder & director!
