The Herbies and Sloan Kettering - Senior Capstone

Hello! We're a group of four television students – Christian Miller, Tom Grady, Colleen Strowbridge, and Leah DeHaemer. We're putting together our Senior Television Capstone and we need your help!

As senior television majors at Hofstra University, we're given the opportunity to utilize Hofstra's studio space to put on a one-night, live television special. On May 1st, the four of us are putting on a show called The Herbies Television Awards; an award show meant to honor the hard work and dedication of Hofstra's television students throughout this past academic year. The project is funded entirely out of pocket by the four of us, so we would love your support to make the project the best it can be! Funds raised would go towards the overall production design of the show, the physical awards presented, table and chair rentals, food for our student crew, and so on!

Additionally, The Herbies is fundraising money for Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. MSK is a cause very close to the heart of this project; Christian and Tom's fathers were both treated at MSK, as well as Leah's grandfather and great-grandfather. So, money will be raised throughout the night of the show for MSK, and any money left over from this gofundme once all show expenses are paid will be donated to MSK as well.
