I'm walking 535KM by April 30th to raise $500 for the Ecology Action Centre. The Hemlock Walk will cover one kilometer for every year the oldest known tree in the Maritimes, found in the proposed Ingram River Wilderness Area, which has been growing since taking root in circa 1490.

The EAC is an environmental charity tackling critical issues such as climate change, biodiversity protection, and environmental justice. Among their current goals is securing protection for the proposed Ingram River Wilderness Area.
