It is with the heaviest of hearts that I am sharing the loss of my nephew, Draven Lee Heffelfinger. Draven was born on August 22, 2025, to Kimberly and Jay Heffelfinger. He weighed 7 lbs 3 oz and was 18 1/4 inches at birth. He was an incredibly happy baby and touched many hearts.

Draven passed away this past weekend from SIDS, and Kimberly is still on maternity leave as he was not yet two months old. As any parent knows, medical expenses following labor and delivery and caring for a newborn is a costly endeavor. I am hoping we can come together to take the stress off of Kimberly and Jay’s shoulders to give Draven the funeral/memorial service he deserves.

I am setting up this GoFundMe to help Kimberly and Jay through this incredibly trying time. They both have other children to continue providing for through this unimaginable crisis while also giving themselves the time and space to cope with such a tragic loss.

Please consider helping this family in their time of need. Any funds raised will go directly to Jay and Kimberly to continue caring for their family, provide a proper memorial for Draven, cover any medical expenses endured during this time, and allow some time off work for each parent to be able to work through their grief.
