Hi Everyone, this is Janine, daughter of Jackie Cortez :) On Friday June 25th my mom suffered a heart attack that required her to have an emergency Quadruple Bypass. She is now successfully recovering (thanks to the amazing Cardiovascular Department at Pomona Valley Hospital) and her well known strength is shining through! She has a long road ahead AND an ADDITIONAL surgery.  Many of people have asked how they can help. This Go Fund Me is for anyone who would like to help provide a financial cushion of peace for my mom as she faces this long road. It will be used to specifically fund basic expenses like medical supplies, bills, food and other vital necessities.
As many of you know, a huge part of her life is her job: working at CVS for almost 25 years. My mother has spent the last year working very hard, through a pandemic and this is for anyone who would like to help ease her burdens with peace of mind, for her healing heart.
