Story:

Hi, my name is Isis Thomas—a mother of 4, full-spectrum doula, herbalist, Birth Justice Advocate and founder of Seeds of Life Child Care & Divine Sacred Space, where I’ve spent years holding space for others on their healing journey. Now, I find myself in need of that same support.

On April 24th, I was rushed to the hospital with what I thought was food poisoning—but it quickly became something far more serious. My body went into sepsis, a life-threatening condition where the body attacks itself. Doctors told me that if I hadn’t come in when I did, I might not be here to tell this story.

Since then, I’ve been in excruciating pain, unable to walk or move without excruciating discomfort. My blood is forming unexplained clots in my fingers and toes, and each day brings new challenges. The medical team is still searching for answers.

Though I do have medical insurance, I am seeking the absolute best care—which means combining the benefits of Western medicine with my deep ancestral knowledge of homeopathy, plant medicine, and energy healing. I believe in the power of both worlds and am trusting that this integrative approach will offer the most complete path to recovery.

This health crisis has forced me to pause my business, Divine Sacred Space, and with it, my income. I’m a mother, a provider, and a pillar in my community—but right now, I need my community to be a pillar for me.
