On 15th September, we’re taking on a serious challenge: walking the full 107 miles of the Cleveland Way in just three days, averaging around 35 miles a day. It’s a tough ask, but we’re doing it for a cause that means a lot to all of us.

We’re raising money for two incredible charities: Andy’s Man Club and The Headlight Project. Both organisations provide vital support to people facing mental health struggles across the North East of England.

Mental health challenges affect more people than we often realise. Tragically, the North East continues to have the highest suicide rate in England, with 13.8 suicides per 100,000 people. These aren’t just numbers—they represent lives lost, families devastated, and communities deeply affected.

Here’s what your support helps fund:

Andy’s Man Club: Safe, non-judgmental spaces for men to talk, listen, and support one another.

The Headlight Project: Specialist support for individuals and families affected by suicide, helping them navigate grief and trauma.

These charities are doing life-saving work, and we want to help them continue making a difference.

Every donation, no matter how small, goes directly to these charities to fund outreach, support groups, and mental health initiatives. Together, we can reduce stigma, offer hope, and save lives.

To ensure both charities benefit equally, the funds raised will be paid into a private account and then split between Andy’s Man Club and The Headlight Project once the fundraiser closes.
