The HBCU Jazz Education Initiative

The HBCU Jazz Education Initiative is a national coalition dedicated to ensuring the future sustainability of jazz education in America’s HBCUs
 
We are dedicated to increasing the awareness and education of jazz for future generations of musicians. We advocate for greater access to:

- Funding for HBCU Jazz departments
- Stronger networks of graduates of HBCU Jazz programs
- Pipelines of education for young musicians, through in school and out of school music programs
