The Hayes Family Could Use A Helping Hand
Donation protected
Hi Everyone,
This is Keri Hayes, and as many of you know, my husband, Greg, was in a bad car accident. He was rear-ended on Grand River in Brighton on June 30th, our wedding anniversary of all days. He was running errands for our small business when a man from out of state hit him without even trying to apply his breaks. Clearly distracted. My husband was taken via ambulance to U of M where he remained for three days. He's still in a great deal of pain, and it's hard for him to just get through the day.
Due to this accident, we lost our vehicle, leaving a family of 4 with one car. He is unable to get to his other job without transportation. Because Michigan is a no-fault state, we are responsible for the deductible and we need to come up with a downpayment for a new car, neither of which we have since he's lost income for the past three weeks.
We are usually the family who donates to others, and this is very hard for us to ask for help. I don't know what else to do; we need a car to make money to pay the bills, but we can't get to the other job without a car.
- Any help or share is beyond generous and we will be forever grateful.
