On Christmas night, our dear friend, Bonnie Harrison, a loved and respected woman in our community, lost her house to a fire. Thankfully, Bonnie, her two children, and their dog were not at home when the fire started; however, they have lost everything, including a lifetime of memories.

Those of you who know Bonnie, know she's an amazing woman. She's an incredible mom to her three children, a devoted grandmother, an active member of our community, and one of the best friends anyone could ever ask for. Bonnie would be the first person to come to the aid of anyone who'd find themselves in the situation she is now in.

This house fire is not the only challenge Bonnie and her family are currently facing. Two years ago, Bonnie was diagnosed with breast cancer, a diagnosis she met with characteristic strength, positivity, and good humor. She did not let this diagnosis take her down, and she won't let this recent tragedy take her down either. However, this fire has added additional financial stress to the existing stress of dealing with cancer. We're hoping through this GoFundMe, Bonnie can focus on her health and her family as they look to rebuild their lives, and not on the heavy financial concerns that accompany such a tragedy.
