The Harp Irish Pub Fundraiser
Donation protected
Hi Everyone!
As you all are aware, the pandemic has been incredibly hard for small businesses and restaurants. The Harp Irish Pub has unfortunately suffered like so many other businesses in the Pioneer Valley.
The Harp was forced to close its doors the week of St. Patrick's Day, which as most of you know, is their busiest day (and week!) of the entire year. Once businesses were allowed to re-open, the Harp was operating with limited staff and volunteers to get take-out up and running through June. They were incredibly lucky to have the yard and deck area for outdoor dining during the summer months, but as any New Englander knows, that can only last so long. Winter hit and with new protocols drastically limiting their ability to serve indoors, as well as January and February being their slowest (and coldest) months, they decided to take the opportunity to hibernate for the winter. During this time they will do a deep clean, make much needed repairs, and work on a new food program for the spring.
The money donated will go directly to bills: rent, insurance, and utilities to keep The Harp Irish Pub running through the winter.
With your help, we could ease the burden and keep this beloved, local restaurant as a staple in the Pioneer Valley. No matter if you remember it as Mike's Westview, or as The Harp, we all have fond memories at this establishment.
The Harp owner and staff are incredibly grateful for all of your support over the past few months. They miss the "normality" of the restaurant business; they miss the seisun, open mic, and karaoke; they miss the regulars and the new faces; they miss the students. Anything you can donate at this time would be incredibly generous and they are so appreciative.
Thank you so much and Sláinte!
