My friends Kylie and Wayne are going thru an uncertain time at the moment. Before Christmas Wayne started to have symptoms that started with no feeling in his feet, it quickly moved to both his legs and he had trouble walking etc, fast forward to now and Wayne has been diagnosed with Transverse myelitis (TM) is a rare neurological condition caused by inflammation of your spinal cord. It often results in sudden symptoms, such as muscle weakness, pain and bladder dysfunction. It has several possible causes. Some people recover from the symptoms and resulting complications of TM, while others don’t. As you can imagine it is hard on the family Alyssa 14 , Joshua 12 and Lachlan 9. The family purchased their first home together just over a yr ago. While both Wayne’s and Kylie’s work places are both supportive their road ahead has lots of uncertainty. Wayne has been off work since the end of November and has long way to go with rehab and home care etc that maybe required. Both Kylie and Wayne are surrounded by love and support from friends and family and they both are the people that offer help and support to those around them. We would love to give back and support them thru this time. We thank you are any support that you can offer.
