Now that I have been terminated, I am out of
work we raised our goal. Anything we don’t need will go back to a pro LGBT organization.

We have been blown away by the support
we’ve received the last few days and so many people have asked “how can I help?” Given the circumstance, our only need as of the moment is monetary for a few reasons:

1) Legal fees to cover 2 situations 

     A) our original contractor walked our job, we had paid him 6,000 out of our savings and he left the work unfinished with more issues than solutions. So now we are looking at another 3,000 to correct and finish his work, which we had until 

(we are trying to sue over this issue but have gotten no response yet from the contractor) 

     B) this one I can’t talk much about because it’s pending but so far I’ve had to spend 2,500 in legal fees to protect my professional reputation. 

2) with a newborn, maternity leave for Sydney, andnow me job searching, the financial stress is hard.

3) losing my job has been incredibly difficult for mymental health and I have had to continue to see my therapist to ensure my own health and safety. That is $100 a session 

I am a planner, I save money well, I’ve loaned people money in college and beyond because when I have, I give, so if I am being honest for me this is embarrassing but I wanted to give people the option. 

So that’s us. That’s our story. And we know that this will pass and we will be better for it one day.
