The Hall Phase One: Formalizing the Organization
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Jacob and I am a Norse Pagan. For over two years now I have had a dream of creating a hall for Norse Pagans to come to and worship the old Gods of the North. Along the way I met some amazing people who share that dream. We have formed what we call the Fellowship, a group of heathens that help each other put on gatherings across the country.
After putting on over 20 events over the last two years, bringing together over 400 individuals across the United States, we are making the next step to purchase land to build a hall for all those who follow the old ways to come and celebrate together. The next step of that is the legal fees to forming such an official organization, after that we will begin the process of fundraising and searching for land. The Fellowship intends to donate as generously as we can to each campaign but we are going to need your help to see this dream become a reality.
The Fellowship has been built on many guiding principles that came from the Wisdom of Odin YouTube channel, principles such as:
1) Putting the Gods, the Folk, and the Spirits above personal/selfish motivations
2) Offering an inclusive environment where all can truly worship the old ways in peace
3) Being non-political, and not allowing modern political ideologies to influence our practices. Both online and in-person
4) Honoring the historical information contained in the Saga's of old, while still creating our own.
All of these principles and more will be included in the bi-laws of the Non-Profit organization. It will also include a board headed by myself that will be in place to honor the founding principles, all while putting on seasonal events for members to attend.
2 years ago this was a dream, and now we are ready to work with all of you in making this a reality.
Hail the Gods! Hail the Folk! And Hail the Spirits!
Until the Hall,
The Fellowship
