The Halbgewachs Family
Donation protected
It is with a heavy heart that we are requesting your much-needed help.
Phil Halbgewachs, age 39, is a devoted husband, father and dearly loved son and brother. He has been married to his best friend Beth for 11 years. They have created a beautiful life together and have two adorable young children, Katie (7 years old), and James (5 years old).
On March 9th, Phil was admitted to the hospital with pneumonia. While being treated in the hospital for pneumonia, it was discovered that Phil has cancer. After extensive testing by specialists, Phil has been diagnosed with T-Cell Prolymphocytic Leukemia (PLL), an aggressive and rare disease.
Phil will be undergoing many rounds of rigorous infusion treatments coupled with extensive antibiotic therapy, to be followed by a bone marrow transplant. Phil, a full-time chef at a local hotel and resort, has also faced the news that he will be unable to work for a minimum of 12 months.
Our goal is to help support the Halbgewachs family in any way we can. In addition to love and prayers, we are asking for help in providing financial support for their family, so they can focus on what's truly important right now; their family's wellbeing and Phil's recovery.
It will take a village to help them through these next several months. We are confident that with everyone's support, we can make this process less stressful for the Halbgewachs family.
Please keep this deserving family in your daily thoughts and prayers. Any contribution, great or small, would be hugely appreciated.
