The Guy Who Didn't Like Musicals (by TPC)

Hello everyone!

The Playhouse Collective is back with our next musical! We're so excited to take the stage again after a sold out production of Ride The Cyclone in 2023. This year, The Playhouse Collective will be Toronto's StarKid debut, bringing The Guy Who Didn't Like Musicals to The Assembly Theatre from May 22nd-26th. We're thrilled to share this spooky, campy, internet cult classic with Toronto!

The Playhouse Collective is a place for artists to explore and develop their artistry. We are a company of recent theatre grads who focus on creating spaces that centre women and non-binary folks at the core of the company. Our hope is that the Playhouse can be a soft place to land for emerging artists in the Toronto theatre industry, a place to find a community that they can always call home.

This show is working in a profit-share model, meaning that any profits we make on this show goes directly back to our artists. The more we can raise leading up to the show, the better we can make it, and the more we can pay the artists who make the Playhouse what it is.
