Grimaldo-Sabala Family were in a horrible accident

Hi my name is Rebecca Spencer White myself and my cousin Nichole Harvey are fundraising for

our cousins The Grimaldo family.

The Oscar Grimaldo/Kristin Sabala Family were in a horrible accident on Hwy 25

The Grimaldo family was planning on moving to South Carolina next week. Their oldest daughter Alana was scheduled to leave for the US Marines next month, their 17 year old daughter Aliyah would start at a new high school and their younger two boys were excited to meet new friends as they began an adventure in their new town.

All of that changed on August 25th at approximately 5pm, when the car Kristin was driving with her three oldest children was suddenly struck by a a speeding semi truck. The semi did not attempt to stop as it crushed the driver side of the car, pinning Aliyah and Kristin inside. Both were life flighted to different hospitals to receive life saving treatment. Aliyah suffered major life threatening injuries and will have a long road ahead of her as she recovers under doctors watch. Kristin suffered a shattered arm and broken pelvis. Having gone through one surgery already, she will have to go through physical therapy to recover from her physical injuries.

Their move is now on hold, and they will need to move in with relatives that will help care for them. Alana is now faced with leaving her mom and sister, whose lives she helped save, to start her military career. Aliyah’s high school classes will have an empty desk as she recovers. Oscar Jr and Mario will have to wait to meet new friends. Their life is on hold because of the actions of one person.

We want to help the Grimaldo family with the hospital bills and moving expenses so that they can focus on their recovery.
