The Griego Family could use some love!

My dearest brother Mark injured his back 4 months ago at work, being the guy that he is, he decided to wait it out. Driving for UPS for 7 years he was used to a sore back, well it turned out that the aggravating type of work over the years developed into something much worse. He developed an infection near his spine from the repeated trauma, he spent his 44th birthday in the hospital racked with pain. The doctors at the time had no idea what kind of pain he had been dealing with for weeks. This abscess required immediate surgery to remove, he was immediately started on intravenous antibiotics fed directly into his heart via “pick line”. One of the most painful parts of the whole ordeal.

Mark has been trying to keep busy with small wood working projects, most notably the famous chile reastra earrings, a skill that his grandmother lovingly passed on to him. It’s been tough to keep the lights on. Living off of disability is tough for a family of four. Leandra has been taking care of him around the clock and juggling two busy wonderful kiddos.
