The Grenier Family Takes on Cancer

Hello, my mother, Margaret Grenier, has been diagnosed with cancer. She has been sick and in and out of the hospital since November 2021, with several ailments that we now know were caused by her disease.

It was confirmed at Dartmouth Hitchcock yesterday, 2/23/2022, that she is suffering from stage 4 lung cancer (Non-Small Cell Carcinoma). They also confirmed that she has tumors in her liver and cancerous lumps growing visibly on her skin. This disease is not curable.

Margaret's next step includes a PET scan within the next 2-weeks. The PET scan will tell us more about the tumors then we can determine what the best possible treatment route will be. We won't have an accurate lifespan timeline until then. With the information the oncologists do have, they gave us a bleak estimate.

As you can imagine, the ER bills, hospital stays, co-pays, medication, lost work, and travel to Dartmouth are creating a major hardship for my family financially.

I am creating this gofundme to pay for the bills that are already due (over $20K), medication costs, and to help alleviate the stress that my parents now face with the everyday cost of living.
