A New York story...about an Australian girl...told in a European way
Why this film? Why now?
This is a small film yes but one that I hope will have impact for generations to come…just like all the other great independent New York films before it, that have become sewn into the fabric of what this city means to us.
This is more than a love letter to the city but above all else a time capsule in its time of need.
The long road back to normalcy has to begin somewhere and this is my way of helping the city get back on its feet so please support my film and my story on any financial level you can.
The Film
It has taken me four years to get to a place to make my very first feature film and then Covid-19 happened. To me and everyone else for that matter. After a few disillusioned months I've figured out what I wanted to say and how to make the film going forward.
I feel now more than ever it is imperative to do whatever we can to help support our communities and the places that we live, to provide work and security wherever we can with whatever we have.
This little story is what I have.
p.s feel free to send to Billy Joel and or Jerry Seinfeld if you see them ;)
Thank you!
