Hi family and friends!

We’re Brook and Peter, freshman Fashion Design students at NC State University. This year, we have the incredible opportunity to design for the African American Textile Society (AATS) and create a collection for their annual fashion show competition, centered around the theme of Culture and Heritage.

Our collection, The Grande Parade, is inspired by the vibrant culture of Louisiana and the joy, music, and tradition of Mardi Gras. Through bold colors, dramatic silhouettes, feathers, and intricate details, we’re honoring the beauty of celebration, community, and cultural pride.

As first-year students, this is such a meaningful moment for us. We’re learning, growing, and pouring our hearts into every sketch and stitch. Your support will help us cover the costs of fabrics, trims, feathers, and all the materials needed to bring these designs to life!
