In December 2020, Pete Granados found out he had a tumor the size of a football and was diagnosed with kidney cancer. In August 2021, Pete had surgery to remove the tumor and begin recovering from cancer. On October 31, 2021, after the cancer developed and spread throughout his organs he passed away. Pete was many things in his life: a father, an uncle, a brother, a friend. He nurtured an amazing, hardworking family: His wife, Laura, His son Raymond, and his two daughters Laura and Patricia. Pete was quick to lend a helping hand to anyone, always pulling over to help people stopped on the side of the road, enjoyed hosting guests for dinner, and loved to spend time with his loved ones and friends at BBQ’s.
This Go Fund Me is for Pete’s wonderful family, organized by friends of the family. We are looking to help the Granados family provide for funeral costs, medical bills, and other costs that come when a loved one passes before their time. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Pete lost his job and was unable to find work, even after his diagnosis. Due to this, the Granados family had to use their savings in order to help Pete combat cancer, and unfortunately, after a hard fought year they are out of savings and Pete’s handsome smile will smile no more. Pete and his family have helped many other people out without asking for repayment in the past, and we are looking to show Pete’s family the charity that they themselves have shown to many in the past. If you are able to spare any money, it would be greatly appreciated by the Granados family, as they need help making ends meet after the devastating loss of Pete’s passing. Pete and the Granados family have never ignored a cry for help in a time of need in the past and we ask that you do not ignore their cry for help.
Pete was a man of many unique talents and admirable qualities in his lifetime: a U.S. Army veteran, a son, a brother, a father, a husband, an uncle, a Subaru Master tech, sadly a cancer patient, and a friend to all. But most important out of all of those remarkable aspects and so many more, Pete was loved. Help us show our support for Pete and the Granados family, and support them in their time of need.
All funds will be going directly to the Granados Family.
