If you know Heather, you know she’s the first to show up for others — and the last to ask for help herself. Right now, though, she’s facing a difficult journey and could really use our support.
After several years of monitoring a meningioma (a brain tumor lovingly nicknamed Ernie), recent scans showed it has grown significantly and developed fluid around it. On November 3, Heather will undergo a craniotomy to remove the tumor.
This surgery comes after an incredibly tough year — her fourth surgery in twelve months — following a string of complex health issues. Recovery will take time, and while she’s focusing on healing, the bills, medical expenses, and time away from work are already adding up.
Anyone who knows Heather knows her strength, humor, and grace are unmatched — even now, she’s cracking jokes about her “metal head” and future superpowers. ✨
Your support, whether through a donation, a share, or simply sending love and encouragement, will help lift some of the financial and emotional weight as she focuses on recovery.
Let’s help Heather get through this chapter with the same love and light she’s always shared with all of us.
If you prefer, contributions can also be sent via Venmo @Heather-Petri-1.
