I'm reaching out on behalf of my husband, Mark, who recently underwent knee surgery. For those of you that don’t know, Mark has been out of work for a considerable amount of time due to pain in his knee. He had surgery recently and we were relieved to learn that there was no meniscus tear, PRAISE GOD. Additionally, the surgery successfully removed a bone tumor. As it stands, his return to work remains uncertain as he continues to attend physical therapy and heal. Timing on Mark returning to work is a significant concern, as we navigate the challenges of Workman's Comp, a battle many are all too familiar with. I want to emphasize that we're not inclined to ask for help, but our circumstances have left us little choice at this point.

Our situation is becoming increasingly stressful. A bit of background on our situation as a whole…We just had an escrow analysis and prices continue to rise on groceries and other needs and our mortgage will rise by $316 per month starting November 1st. This, coupled with escalating energy costs and our two car payments, is putting immense pressure on our finances. We recently purchased our first home and the thought of losing it is unbearable. We've both been working so hard, with faith in God's grace, to reach this point.

We are starting to find ourselves stretched thin. Being the only one able to work, I’m working with very little time to take care of myself or our new home, unable to take a day off, and we're just barely managing to keep our heads above water.
