Baby August had open heart surgery this past Tuesday after they discovered a fatal defect. Surgery carries a 10% chance of mortality, but seems to have gone well. They closed his chest last night and will be taking him off of sedation this week. So far things seem to be looking positive! His vitals under sedation are great - they are eager to see how he does out of sedation.

Thank you all so much for your generosity and prayers over the last week, it's meant more to the family than you'll ever know.

Today, 8/11/23 will be the last time I share this GoFundMe me publicly, but I wanted to update everyone on were we stand.

This Gofundme will assist my sister and her husband take the time they need to help August with his recovery and hopefully help with the astronomical hospital bill they are about to receive.

Every little bit helps them and will save them alot of stress. So thank you all so so so much.
