The Good Jake Fund Honoring Lt. Jason Menard

Donation protected
On November 13, 2019, Lieutenant Jason Menard was taken from us as he answered his last call at a fire on Stockholm St in Worcester. The 39-year-leaves behind his wife, Tina, three children and his parents. All funds up to our $5,000 goal will be given directly to the Menard Children's Fund at the Worcester Fire Department Credit Union.

When the community named our team the "Bravehearts" in 2013, they specifically wanted the term "Brave" to honor the firefighters who serve and protect us. As we have honored and remembered Worcester firefighters Thomas Spencer, Paul Brotherton, Timothy Jackson, Jeremiah Lucey, James Lyons, Joseph McGuirk, Jon Davies, and Christopher Roy in our first six years, so too will we honor Jason Menard as a true Braveheart and "Good Jake."

Donations will be accepted until December 24th. The first 50 donations of $30 or more will receive a free "Worcester 6" t-shirt that was given away on Worcester Firefighters Night at the Bravehearts on August 3, 2019. We will reach out by email to contact you and arrange for you to receive your shirt.

In addition, the Bravehearts are teaming up with the College of the Holy Cross for a week's worth of fundraising at Holy Cross Crusader home games. Head to one of six ticketed events between November 18 and 24, take advantage of discounted $10 tickets, and $5 from each ticket will be donated to the Menard Children's Fund.
