Sandie "The Goddess Bunny" Crisp is the larger-than-life, transgender cult superstar and drag legend, who battled both polio and HIV.

Our darling Sandie has passed on January 27th, 2021.

Sandie is infamously known for being one of the world's original viral sensations.  She modeled for Rick Owens, posed for acclaimed photographer Joel-Peter Witkin, appeared in Dr. Dre's "Puppet Master" music video, became the breakout star of Marilyn Manson's "The Dope Show," joined him to tap-dance on stage at the MTV Music Video Awards, and acted opposite Carrie Fisher in the 1986 cult movie Hollywood Vice Squad.

Sandie's story has served as a strong beacon of hope for people all across the globe.  For years she beat polio, the disease that had greatly disfigured her body,  took away her ability to walk, and distorted her spine, making it difficult to breathe.

She also fell victim to the HIV virus, further hindering her health, on top of the severe disability she had already been dealt with.

But what inspired her 'cult-like' following has been her ability to look past her disabilities and instead, view herself as an A-List celebrity.  Her movie-star attitude, witty personality, and impeccable sense of humor will never, ever be forgotten.

Despite being bound to a wheelchair and a hospital bed for most of her life - the world was her stage and she was indeed a superstar.

My name is Hunter and Sandie considered me one of her sons.  She took in many of her adoring fans as children of her own.

One of her wishes was to be buried in the Hollywood Forever Cemetery as she wanted to be buried a star forever.  In true Goddess fashion, she wanted to make sure the funeral was just as extravagant as she was.

Here are the bare minimum costs to make her wish come true.

Funeral Service with Cremation: $4,000
Cremation Niche: $5,000
Interment Services: $1,373.50

We have placed the fundraiser goal much, much higher in the hope that Sandie's story reaches more people and we are able to provide her with an even greater memorial, one fit for a Goddess.

Sandie's final years were placed in a living situation we could barely call 'living.'  She was placed in an assisted living home, paid for by the state, in a tiny room with bug problems...  

And we feel if she wasn't able to live in a palace here on earth, I hope that we can give her a kingdom to immortalize her spirit forever.

All of the donations that surpass the $10,373.50 mark will go directly towards the extra services and packages the Hollywood Forever Cemetery has to offer - in effort to give her the memorial she deserves.
