Hi, I’m Cory Cavazos (she/they),

I’m a cellist, composer, and creative based in Seattle — and I’m turning 35 this October! For my birthday, I’m asking for support to bring my new instrumental album and artistic ritual, The Goddess Awoken In Me, to life.

This album is a reflection of my journey as a trans, Chicana, and queer artist, reclaiming my body, my voice, and my creative power. It’s about healing, embodiment, and transformation — told through sound, image, and ritual.

About the Project

This project is both a music album and a visual ritual — a merging of art, healing, and self-expression. The album, The Goddess Awoken In Me, will feature 10+ original songs that explore empowerment, grief, joy, identity, and liberation.

Each track tells a story — from reconnecting with my sister (“Sisters”), to reclaiming power and sensuality (“Vanquish”), to finding peace after transformation (“Protect My Peace”).

The visual element will be captured in The Goddess Closet Session — a ritual boudoir experience created in collaboration with artist and liberation coach Heather Estep Riley. Together, we’ll craft scenes that express my journey through dress, story, and movement — bringing the goddess within me to light.

What This Funding Supports

Your contribution will directly support:

The Goddess Closet Session (Essence Package) – $888 base + $833–$1,055 for professional photo/video add-ons

Album Distribution & Marketing – $1,000 for digital release, visuals, and campaign support

Video Editing & Post-Production – $500–$700 for final presentation and social media content

Total Goal: $3,500

This amount will allow me to complete the Goddess Closet ritual, finish and distribute the album, and share this story with the world in a powerful, professional way.
